Paraglide Chelan, SpeedFly Chelan and Paramotor Chelan are based in the world-renowned Chelan Valley. This is the birthplace of northwest paragliding, hangliding and now… speedflying and paramotor! Pilots from all over the world flock to Chelan every year for National and World competitions as well as many events hosted by us. The Owners Todd and Sonya have been coming to Chelan to fly since 2001. In 2013, they moved to Chelan to start Skydive Chelan. While owning and operating Skydive Chelan, they met and flew with many top pilots in the paragliding community and joined forces to bring you Paraglide Chelan, Speedfly Chelan and Paramotor Chelan! We only use the region’s best USHPA and ASC Licensed Tandem instructors. We hope to see you flying with us in what we feel is the most beautiful flying spot in the world!
Tandem Paraglide Flight
The best way to experience flight is through our Tandem Paraglide program. Once you book your flight, you will receive a waiver to fill out. On the day of your flight, you will check in at our hangar and watch a 10-minute training video. Next, you will meet your instructors and be guided one-on-one through the tandem flight process. Then you will be loaded up on our off-road vehicles and taken on an adventure ride along a cliff-lined road winding up the east side of Deer Mountain. Once on the launch site, check out the amazing views and the valley you are about to set flight in. Then step off with your instructor and understand why we do what we do! You can choose slow glide (Paraglide), fast rapid descents (Speedfly) or motorized (Paramotor).
Tandem Winery Paraglide Flight
For the total VIP Tandem Paraglide package, Paraglide Chelan offers the only Tandem Winery Paraglide flight in the nation! After a chauffeured ride from one of Lake Chelan’s Wineries to Paraglide Chelan we will train and board our shuttle for a beautiful scenic drive to the top of the world famous Chelan Butte! Enjoy the exhilarating launch & paraglide flight over Lake Chelan, and then be welcomed back to earth with a bottle of wine of your choice as we land in a grass field among the vineyards.
